Based on the concept of twin flames, Burning Apart captures the tension of connection strained to its breaking point. Within a single flame, two figures are shown on a split wick. One turns away, guarded and closed off, while the other collapses inward, overwhelmed by the weight of it all.
The heart-shaped inner flame suggests that love still exists, even as the connection destabilizes. This piece reflects imbalance and misalignment. The painful reality is that shared intensity does not always mean shared direction.
